Eutychus girls soccer team at Kenyatta universityThe school is one of the leading champions in different games within Nairobi County. It has excelled in the following games;

 Volleyball:  -Excelled up to semi finals in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.

 Excelled in 2012 up to finals attaining position two in the County.

Netball:  – 2010 – Represented the school up to quarter finals in Nairobi County.

                      2011 – Reached the finals in Nairobi county.

                      2012 – Reached the finals and attained position two in Nairobi County

Rugby Girls : – Represented the school to the  Nationals in Kenya and attained position two Country wide.

Student Admission

Eutychus Academy takes in students at the start of every academic year in January and transfers at the beginning of each school term.

The following documents can be obtained from our Admission Offices:

1.  Application Form
2.  Fee Structure
3.  Specific Class Book listing
4.  Uniform List


Both sides of the Application Form should be completed and returned with the following

1.    A photocopy of the last report form/card

2.    A photocopy of the birth certificate

3.    2 passport-size colored photographs

There is an assessment test in Mathematics, English and Kiswahili. Interviews are ongoing on week days (Monday to Friday).

Major Departments


The schools top governing body is the Management board which comprises of the founders. This team is charged with the responsibility of hiring and firing staff, providing resources for the school and checking the work of the Principal.

The school principal is the next in command and he is charged with the duty of coordinating the day to day running of the school.

The principal is assisted by a deputy principal who is in charge of the teaching staff and the general discipline of the school.

The students are represented in the administration through their student council which is democratically elected on annual basis. The students sit in different committees in the school to represent their interests.

KaraniHe holds Bachelor of Education (science) degree from Kenyatta University with specialization in Chemistry and Physics. He currently teaches the same subjects in the school. He holds a diploma in analytical chemistry from the Technical university of Kenya. He has also served in the capacity of the Principal of the school.


PJHe holds a Bachelor of education (Arts) degree from Kenyatta University with specialization in Kiswahili and Geography. He is currently teaching the same subjects in the school. Eutychus academy was founded on 2nd September 2003.The school was initially registered as a non formal school under the ministry of culture and social services. The founders and proprietors of the school are: Patrick Jumah Makhanu, Michael Odhiambo,Thomas Karani and Asatsa Stephen.On the first day the school received a total of 99 students who comprised of form one and two.

The first Staff Of EutychusThe total capital the school used was 500 Kenya shillings. This was the fee that the school was charged for the certificate of registration. The school operated on an eighth of an acre piece of land which was rented at Ksh 45 000 per month. Since the founders did not have money to pay the landlord before engaging his premises, they approached the landlord and requested him to allow operation of the school for a month...
